Brock Lesnar Surpasses CM Punk's 434 Day World Championship Reign

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar has reached day 435 of his reign, passing former WWE Champion CM Punk as the longest reigning world champion of the modern era.

Lesnar won the title from Goldberg at WrestleMania 33, but has been missing for most of his reign, last defending the championship at the Greatest Royal Rumble in April.

Punk won the WWE Championship at the 2011 Survivor Series, and held it for over a year before losing it to The Rock at Royal Rumble 2013.
