Another Quick Update on Eli Drake's Status, Is WWE Interested in Him?

As was previously reported, former Impact Wrestling World Champion Eli Drake is currently negotiating a new contract with Impact Wrestling, but he hasn't signed a new deal yet.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been at least some talk in WWE about possibly bringing him in.

As fans might be aware, Drake was previously under contract to WWE in their developmental system in 2013/2014 under the ring name of Slate Randall. He was released from his WWE contract in August of 2014.
