British wrestling legend Johnny Saint has been announced at the General Manager for WWE's upcoming UK brand.
The announcement by WWE describes Saint as "a pioneering force in the U.K. scene," and "widely hailed as one of the most technically gifted grapplers of all time."
Debuting in 1958, Saint's grappling style made him 'the man of a thousand holds', and worked during British wrestling's heyday in the 1970s and 1980s.
Saint began working with WWE in 2016 as a guest trainer at the performance center, before being announced as the WWE UK GM today.
He is scheduled to appear at the upcoming United Kingdom tournament, where 16 superstars will compete for a shot at current UK Champion, Pete Dunne.
