Colt Cabana has been forced to cancel an appearance at a Compound Pro Wrestling show in Oklahoma, due to his ongoing court trial with WWE doctor, Chris Amann.
Cabana tweeted the news, but told fans he would still be providing commentary for Ring of Honor.
I’m sorry to the fans of @Compoundpw.

Due to mandatory court obligations I’ll be unable to attend the show this Friday...
I’ll still be in NY for @ringofhonor doing commentary though.
Thanks.
Cabana, alongside friend CM Punk, is being sued by Dr. Amann, for alleged defamatory statements made during a 2014 episode of Cabana's 'Art of Wrestling' podcast.
In the episode, Punk claimed that Amann encouraged him to wrestle despite injuries, misdiagnosed a staph infection and other claims.
Amann is suing the two for $1million. According to Chicago Tribune reporter Gregory Pratt, Punk was serious for the majority of the trial but was amused during some parts of the podcast being played.
The trial continues.
