Is Johnny Impact/Mundo Looking to Join New Japan Pro Wrestling?

According to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Impact Wrestling, Lucha Underground, and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide star Johnny Impact A.K.A. Johnny Mundo is reportedly interested in signing with New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Dave Meltzer noted that due to Mundo's relationship with AAA and Lucha Underground, NJPW may be reluctant to bring him in. NJPW currently has a working relationship with the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) promotion in Mexico, so they usually won't bring in anybody from AAA out of respect to CMLL.
