Cody Clarifies The Term Mark After Fan Uses It As An Insult

Independent star Cody has clarified the term mark, after a fan used it as an insult. 

When a fan referred to "loser marks" in a tweet, the former Intercontinental Champion said he would always side with marks. 

"Mark" means fan or customer. So yea, that'll be the side I take. Always.

Brian 'Blue Meanie' Heffron also commented, saying that he cannot see why 'mark' should be used as an insult. 

I never have and never will understand why someone takes the word "mark" as an insult. Or when a mark calls another mark a mark to cut them down. I mean I "get why" but it still makes no sense in this day and age. Mark is not a dirty word.
