The Big Show has described his new contract with WWE as "humbling", after signing with the company for another three years.
Speaking on 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin's podcast, Show said he met with both Vince McMahon and Triple H, and said the new contract was a huge sign of respect.
He said: "Both of them really appreciated the work that gave the company and put me in a position to where, I mean, in all sincerity, they gave me this deal in January and I haven't done a damn thing yet."
The former WCW, WWE and ECW Champion explained that whilst he may no longer be on WWE TV, he has enjoyed his new role as a company ambassador.
" I can do a lot more work with things that I'm passionate about, Special Olympics and being a Global Ambassador for the Special Olympics," he said.
Show also explained that he did not appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble, due to requiring hip surgery.
He said: "Man, if I showed you the pictures of what my femur bone looked like, what the ball socket looked like… I mean, it had holes. It looked like a bowling ball. I showed it to The Undertaker. He sent back [a text] - he said, 'it looked like a jack-o'-lantern'"
He also explained how complications following the surgery have added 5 months to his return.
