ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that actor and former WCW World Champion David Arquette recently returned to the ring and took part in a training session that lasted “several hours.”
According to the report, Arquette “worked his ass off” this past Sunday morning with the other students taking part in the session at RC’s Wrestling School in Woodford, Virginia. Chris Sharpe, a trainer at the school, stated that Arquette, 46, took the time to re-learn how to run the ropes, lock up, perform leapfrogs and drop downs, and other basic chain wrestling maneuvers.
The report also states that Arquette was filming his entire experience as part of some type of documentary.
Sharpe was quoted as stating the following:
”He will definitely be feeling the training for the next few days. There was a time or two where we thought he may need to step outside to throw up but he soldiered through it all.”
Massive props to @DavidArquette who jumped right in & wrestled with the class all morning. He could have easily just come to hit a few moves, take some pictures & then leave. He didn't. He stuck it out & busted his butt for several hours. He has earned our respect! pic.twitter.com/iLS8MOXeXK
