Former NXT and RAW Women's Champion Bayley has said she is enjoying her slow burning feud with Sasha Banks, comparing it to wrestling storylines from her youth. 

Speaking with 'Sky Sports Lock Up' podcast, the hugger said the current feud between the two is similar to those she saw growing up.

She said: "You had these long feuds and storylines and you just got more and more interested and you wanted to see where it was going to go. You wanted to see the big blow-off match." 

Bayley also described the possibility of wrestling Banks at this year's Summerslam as 'incredible'.

"Any time I get to wrestle Sasha, I always want to do it. For SummerSlam to be in that building [The Barclays Center], I don't know if I would be able to hold my tears back, but I'd love to do it. That's a goal."

Summerslam 2018 will take place on August 19 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, the same arena where Bayley defeated Sasha to capture the NXT Women's Championship in 2015.
