What Was Chris Jericho Told After Being Removed From Greatest Royal Rumble Casket Match?

Chris Jericho was reportedly told that the Saudi Prince Mohammad bin Salman requested specifically that Rusev be re-added to the Greatest Royal Rumble Casket match, according to the Wrestling Observer.

Whilst Rusev was the Undertaker's initial opponent, he was replaced by Jericho after a TMZ interview where Rusev called the deadman old and washed up.

Jericho was reportedly told by Vince McMahon, that his role would be limited to the historic 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble match.

According to reports, the Saudi Crown Prince also wanted superstars like Yokozuna and the Ultimate Warrior to appear at the show, despite Yokozuna's death in 2000, and Warrior's death in 2014.

Instead of facing the Undertaker, Y2J was entrant #50 in the Greatest Royal Rumble, which was won by Braun Strowman
