WWE COO Triple H has said that the WWE United Kingdom Championship will be meaningful, but admits the brand is taking longer than expected to build.Â
Speaking to UK Newspaper 'The Mirror', The Game said that the UK should prepare for a lot of live wrestling, including two European tours, NXT at Download Festival, and WWE UK working with NXT at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
He said: "While we are there at this UK event at the Royal Albert Hall, we will be making some announcements about the future of the UK Championship brand there in the UK and moving forward."
The Game also said how the WWE UK brand is taking time to set up, but is still very near and dear to his heart.
"It’s taking a little bit longer than I anticipated in getting things done and getting them done in the way I want them to get done… but it’s happening. It will be meaningful to everybody there and over there and I look forward to showcasing the UK talent to the world," he said.Â
WWE began the United Kingdom brand, with a 2-day tournament in Blackpool, which saw Tyler Bate defeat Pete Dunne to become the inaugural United Kingdom Champion.Â
