RAW Superstar Mike Kanellis has said he plans on making the most of a second chance in life, after battling addiction and the birth of his daughter. 

In a post on Instagram, Kanellis, who debuted in WWE last year alongside wife Maria, spoke openly about the problems he has faced with painkillers, ten months ago.

"Less than a year ago, my days were spent sitting on this couch, taking pain killers, and watching everything I loved slip away. Now, almost 10 months sober, this is how I spend my days. Life doesn’t offer 2nd chances very often, but I feel like it has offered me one. And I plan on making the most of it. This little girl deserves that!"

Kanellis recently returned at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, narrowly avoiding the record for the fastest elimination.
