205 Live superstar Ariya Daivari has revealed he has received death threats, following his appearance at the Greatest Royal Rumble, alongside his brother Shawn.
The brothers interrupted a segment, featuring four of the Saudi Arabia tryout finalists, ridiculing the group and waving the Iranian flag to gain heat from the Jeddah crowd.
Taking to Twitter, Daivari apologised for any offence caused by using Iran for heat, saying his heel persona does not reflect his personal views.

Unfortunately some people took offense to this despite it being pure entertainment. Some threats were made against my life. I wanted to put this statement out to clarify where I as a person stand compared to my t.v. character. https://t.co/NJbnlMnn28

During the show, the four try out winners made quick work of the Daivari brothers, throwing them both from the ring.
