Samoa Joe has been drafted to SmackDown Live as part of the Superstar Shakeup to get him away from Roman Reigns, according to PW Stream.
Taking to Twitter, the website stated that Joe will be allowed a much bigger role on SmackDown Live than if he stayed on RAW.
Per source: Samoa Joe moved to #SDLive to avoid Reigns. The two will have a match soon, however following that, Reigns, as expected, will be running #Raw. As such, Joe wouldn’t be a pivotal part of the show. WWE want him to play a big role — he wouldn’t be on Raw, hence the move.

Reigns and Joe are scheduled to fight at WWE's Backlash Pay Per View, May 6, live on the WWE Network.
