WWE Hall of Famer Bruno Sammartino has passed away at the age of 82. The two-time WWWF Champion passed away at his home in Pittsburgh, PA this morning following a hospitalization, according to PWInsider.
"The Living Legend" held the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship (WWWF Heavyweight Championship during his second reign) for over 11 years (4,040 days) across two reigns, the first of which is the longest single reign in the promotion's history at 2,803 days.
Sammartino is widely regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all times.
