The WWE Superstar Shake-Up is set to continue tonight on SmackDown Live and there are expected to be some big names moving over to blue brand who lost a number of talents such as Dolph Zigger, Jinder Mahal and Bobby Roode on last night's Raw.
PWInsider is reporting that Jeff Hardy is backstage at the Dunkin Donuts Arena in Providence, Rhode Island for tonight's SmackDown Live. This would explain why he won the U.S title on last night's Raw from Mahal. It also should confirm that Seth Rollins will stay on Monday Night Raw as they would want to avoid having the Intercontinental and U.S. title on the same brand.WWE also recently launched "Monday Night Rollins" t-shirts which are doing well so it makes sense they keep him on Monday Nights.
Speculation suggests Hardy will defend the United States Championship against Randy Orton at the upcoming Backlash pay-per-view, which will be co-branded like all PPV's going forward.
Watch Jeff Hardy win the U.S. title for the first-time ever below.
