Steve Austin Was Not A Fan Of Nicholas Winning The RAW Tag Team Championship

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin has criticised WWE for having a fan win the Raw Tag Team Championship, describing it as a "disservice" to other talent.

Speaking on his podcast 'The Steve Austin Show', the bionic redneck said that Braun Strowman should have picked someone else for his Tag Title Match against the Bar at WrestleMania 34.

He said: "The fact that he goes out there in the crowd and picks some kid, it's almost like a disservice to Cesaro and Sheamus who've been working their asses off."

Austin was also critical of WWE's decision to put a championship on a child from a financial side.

"They can't monetize this person who was picked from the crowd. And, I don't know, I wasn't really down with it, and that's with respect to a damn good tag team like The Bar."

Strowman and Nicholas captured the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania, but forfeited the titles the next night on Raw.

The next champions will be crowned at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, in a match between Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy VS the Bar.
