Former SmackDown Live Women's Champion Natalya was moved to Raw in the Superstar Shakeup, to possibly enter a feud with Ronda Rousey, according to Dave Meltzer.
During an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said how the 3rd-generation superstar would be a good first feud for Rousey, as they're comfortable with each other.
He said: "They know how to work with each other. I mean, they've worked enough with each other, that Natalya has a better read on Ronda's wrestling strengths and weaknesses than almost any other woman on the roster."
Meltzer also explained that Natalya's well-honed skills would also protect Rousey during her first year in the WWE.
"Protecting Ronda Rousey is one of the main things that they're gonna be doing over the next year."
Natalya has been one of the superstars training Rousey for her transition from MMA to Pro-Wrestling, and footage of them training together was tweeted by Rousey months ago.
