The WWE is yet to decide what prize will be given to the winner of the Greatest Royal Rumble, less than two weeks away from the show.
The news was broken by Sports Illustrated's Justin Barrasso, who also shared that the 50-Superstar Royal Rumble Match will feature individual entrances.
Confirmed with #WWE: Saudi Arabia's Greatest Royal Rumble match will have a Royal Rumble format with separate entrances, as opposed to a battle royal with all competitors starting in the ring.— Justin Barrasso (@JustinBarrasso) 16 April 2018
In a follow-up, WWE rep stated that the company has yet to decide on the prize (title shot, etc) for the winner of the Saudi Arabia Rumble— Justin Barrasso (@JustinBarrasso) 16 April 2018
It would seem likely that the winner would receive a WWE or Universal Championship Match at some point in the future.
The first Royal Rumble for a prize was in 1992, where Ric Flair won the vacant WWE Championship, last eliminating Sid Justice.
