As fans may have seen in the news, an incident took place at a Starbucks in Philadelphia this week where two African-American men were arrested by police. According to reports, the two men asked if they could use the restroom while they were waiting on another friend to show up, but were told that they couldn't use the restroom unless they had purchased something as customers. They were then reportedly asked to leave by employees, but refused to do so, which then led to police being called.
WWE Superstar Xavier Woods responded to this incident on Twitter, saying that he will be avoiding Starbucks from now on:
@Starbucks The police were called because these men hadn’t ordered anything. They were waiting for a friend to show up, who did as they were taken out in handcuffs for doing nothing. All the other white ppl are wondering why it’s never happened to us when we do the same thing. pic.twitter.com/0U4Pzs55Ci

So apparently it's not safe for me to chill and play video games @starbucks anymore. Guess I'll go someplace else from now on. https://t.co/nuCfjAS3Nx
