According to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former ECW World Heavyweight Champion, ECW Television Champion, WCW World Tag Team Champion, and WCW Hardcore Champion Scott "Bam Bam" Bigelow will likely be posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year.
Bam Bam actually might have been originally planned for this year's Hall of Fame, but when it was revealed that next year's WrestleMania will be taking place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, they decided that it would be more appropriate to just wait and induct him next year.
As longtime fans may recall, Bam Bam's nickname was "The Beast from the East" because he was from Asbury Park, New Jersey. For WWE fans, Bam Bam is probably best remembered for his WrestleMania 11 main event match against football player Lawrence Taylor back in 1995.
Sadly, Bigelow passed away at the age of 45 in January of 2007.
