Six-Woman Tag Team Match Announced for This Sunday's ROH Masters of the Craft

It's been announced that this Sunday's Ring of Honor Wrestling Masters of the Craft event in Columbus, Ohio will feature a Six-Woman Tag Team Match. The team of Deonna Purrazzo, Tenille Dashwood, and the ROH Women of Honor Champion Sumie Sakai will face Jenny Rose, Madison Rayne, and Brandi Rhodes.

Sumie Sakai made history at Supercard of Honor when she defeated international star Tenille Dashwood in the semifinals and then became the first person to ever pin or submit Kelly Klein to become the first-ever Women of Honor Champion! Sumie has been in a fixture in women’s wrestling since Ring of Honor’s inception and her victory is a crowning achievement in an already amazing career!

The first-ever Champion will be competing LIVE at Masters of the Craft, teaming with women whose respect she earned in Tenille and long-time friendly but competitive nemesis “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo against international star Madison Rayne, Jenny Rose, and Brandi Rhodes!

WOMEN OF HONOR CHAMPION SUMIE SAKAI, TENILLE DASHWOOD, & DEONNA PURRAZZO vs. MADISON RAYNE, JENNY ROSE, & BRANDI RHODES

The first-ever Women of Honor Champion Sumie Sakai teams with two of the top stars in Women of Honor to take on the returning Madison Rayne joined by Jenny Rose and Brandi Rhodes in a huge six-woman Women of Honor Tag Team Match!

But can Sumie trust her partners? Sumie defeated Tenille in the semifinals of the Women of Honor Championship Tournament and Tenille, while teaming with Deonna Purrazzo, has pinned Sumie in a tag team match at Manhattan Mayhem. The two respect one another but now that Sumie has the gold, she must keep her head on a swivel! Add Deonna, who has multiple victories over Sumie in Women of Honor competition, and you have an extremely talented but highly combustible team!

Opposing them is international star Madison Rayne and her teammates Jenny Rose and Brandi Rhodes! Madison and Jenny’s international experience will be key in defeating the three talented stars standing across the ring while Brandi’s rapid rise has displayed both her intelligence and her athletic ability. Jenny and Sumie have been partners in the past and Jenny surely will not pass up an opportunity to pin the Champion should it present itself, as wouldn’t Madison or Brandi!
