WWE United States Championship Match Official For Backlash

On tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown LIVE, a Triple Threat Match was held between Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, and Rusev, with the winner becoming the number-one contender for the United States Championship and earning the opportunity to face Jinder Mahal for the title at the upcoming Backlash event.

Orton emerged victorious in that match, meaning it will be the second time that he and Mahal will square off at Backlash. At last year's event, Mahal defeated Orton to become WWE Champion.
