UFC President Dana White has officially confirmed in an interview with TMZ Sports that CM Punk will be fighting again for UFC and also confirmed his next opponent will be Mike "The Truth" Jackson.
Punk last had a UFC fight when he made his UFC debut against Mickey Gall back at the UFC 203 pay-per-view event in September of 2016. He lost the match in a matter of minutes in the very first round.
It has not been confirmed, but it is likely that the fight with Jackson will take place at the upcoming UFC 225 pay-per-view event on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
In another small update, TMZ asked Dana about Brock Lesnar's return to the Octagon in which he told them Brock's opponent could hinge on who wins the Stipe Miocic vs. Daniel Cormier fight.
TMZ also noted he smirked when they mentioned the possibility of a Lesnar vs. Francis Ngannou.
