John Cena Confirmed To Play Classic Video Game Character Duke Nukem

John Cena has landed himself another film role that as he seeks to further expand his career outside of WWE. Cena will be officially stepping into the shoes of Duke Nukem for the upcoming live-action film. The Duke Nukem franchise spawned nine video games and a comic book series over a 20-year period.

Duke Nukem movie producer Andrew Form confirmed Cena's role in the movie in an interview with Cinema Blend, revealing that there isn’t actually a script at the moment:

"Yeah, that’s what we’re working with now. He is. Yes. We don’t have a script yet, so that is confirmed at this point but if he reads the script and he doesn’t like the script I’m sure there’s ways that he could pull out, but right now he’s our guy."
