Former TNA wrestler Chase Stevens was recently arrested for battery after a violent incident involving former WWE star “Grandmaster Sexay” Brian Christopher, son of Jerry Lawler.
The report from Pro Wrestling Sheet revealed that Stevens (Jonathan Clark) was arrested on February 18th after an incident at an Indiana hotel which left Christopher with severe injuries that included facial lacerations, a bloody nose and dental injuries.
Stevens is claiming self-defense after hitting Lawler to the ground with witnesses saying that Stevens was trying to calm Christopher down. Stevens also claims that Christopher has been causing him problems while at a nightclub.
Lawler claims that he thought Stevens was making advances on his girlfriend, which Stevens claims he wasn't.
Lawler reportedly underwent surgery for his injuries and has since been released from the hospital.
