- Daniel Bryan, the General Manager of SmackDown Live was notably absent from last night's WWE Fastlane pay-per-view. In fact, Commissioner Shane McMahon was left running the show. The reason for not being in Columbus was because Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan were at his cousin William's wedding. Bri posted the following photo on her Instagram:
- As previously reported, Big Show’s WWE contract expired with the company in February. There has been much speculation regarding his future, with many sources noting his in-ring is pretty much over as a full-time talent. WWE took the decision to sign him to an agents contract in order to keep him with the company and to stop him from working somewhere else.
- The Miz posted the following on Twitter congratulating Randy Orton on becoming a grand slam winner at last night’s WWE Fastlane pay-per-view:
