Brandi Rhodes vs. Tenille Dashwood Announced for ROH Women of Honor Championship Tournament

Ring of Honor Wrestling has announced that Brandi Rhodes will clash with former WWE Superstar Tenille "Emma" Dashwood as part of the Women of Honor Championship Tournament tomorrow night on Facebook Live before ROH's 16-year anniversary show.

The tournament to crown the first-ever Women of Honor Champion continues in Las Vegas before 16th Anniversary is broadcast LIVE around the globe for HonorClub VIP and Pay Per View audiences. Two Women of Honor Championship Tournament matches will take place and air LIVE via Ring of Honor’s Facebook Live!

In addition to the previously-announced first-round match between Sumie Sakai and Stardom’s Hana Kimura, the first second-round match will take place Friday, LIVE on Facebook Live!

WOMEN OF HONOR CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINAL MATCH
TENILLE DASHWOOD vs. BRANDI RHODES

International superstar Tenille Dashwood shocked the professional wrestling world when she appeared during the live broadcast of Honor Reigns Supreme and announced herself as entrant sixteen in the tournament to crown the first-ever Women of Honor Champion! In a bout that will be seen on Ring of Honor Television, Tenille defeated Women of Honor competitor Stacy Shadows in Atlanta to earn her ticket into the second round.

Brandi Rhodes had perhaps the biggest upset of the first round of the tournament when she defeated Karen Q after feigning injury, playing possum long enough to secure a victory that may have even surprised her! Brandi has been in the middle of the Bullet Club cyclone as the wife of Cody but has managed to keep the madness within Bullet Club separate as she continues to compete in Women of Honor, picking up wins.

Following Tenille’s tag team victory as the partner of Deonna Purrazzo at Manhattan Mayhem, Tenille is undefeated in Women of Honor but Brandi has had the opportunity to scout Tenille while on commentary during Tenille’s bout at Honor Reigns Supreme. Tenille enters as the odds-on favorite with her Spotlight kick that can come out of anywhere and end the match but Brandi, one of the most well-educated women in Women of Honor, has proved she can use her smarts to pick up upset victories.
