Paul Heyman has confirmed that Brock Lesnar will fulfill his contractual obligations and appear at Saturday's WWE Live event in Chicago. As seen on Monday's WWE Raw, Lesnar didn't show up despite being advertised for the show. Roman Reigns cut a pretty scathing promo on The Beast and many were left wondering if Lesnar walked out on the show like he has done in the past.
It is now believed that WWE purposely told Lesnar not to appear on Monday's Raw following some last minute script rewrites, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Heyman also wasn't at the show which is another indication that WWE had this planned ahead of the show.
Meltzer also reports that there is a feeling within WWE that Lesnar will leave the company for UFC after WrestleMania.
The reigning defending undisputed @WWE #UniversalChampion @BrockLesnar and I fully intend to honor our contractual obligations and therefore will indeed appear LIVE at the @UnitedCenter this Saturday night in #Chicago. pic.twitter.com/Mc4VGuHcqZ
