Those of you unhappy about the increasing number of commercials that air during Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live on USA Network are in for a treat. A new report by TV By The Numbers notes that NCB Universal, who owns USA Network will be cutting back on commercial time for all of their primetime programming.
“Shows across NBCU’s channels — including NBC, E!, USA and Syfy — will feature about 20 percent fewer ads next season, along with a 10 percent reduction in commercial time. So instead of five 30-second ads during a commercial break, viewers might see two or three longer ones”
The rollout of this change is expected in the fall of 2018.
