RUMOR: Rey Mysterio Negotiating with WWE Officials for Huge WrestleMania Match?

According to a report from Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, former three-time WWE World Champion Rey Mysterio is negotiating with WWE officials about a possible return to the company for a match at WrestleMania 34. Mysterio made a surprise appearance during January's Royal Rumble match and was expected to re-join the company by 2019.

It should be noted that this is purely a RUMOR at this point, but according to Barrasso, a possible opponent for Mysterio at WrestleMania 34 is John Cena.

Barrasso posted the following on Twitter:

Breaking: Per WWE sources, Rey Mysterio is backstage working out details tonight at SmackDown for a match at WrestleMania. The rumored opponent is John Cena.
