WWE Rumored To Be Planning A Big Heel Turn After WrestleMania 34
Posted By: Ben Jordan Kerin on Feb 22, 2018
WWE reportedly had plans to turn Dean Ambrose heel and have him feud with Roman Reigns after The Shield got back together, according to Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
These plans were nixed when it was discovered Ambrose was injured and required a substantial time off. The belief is that Rollins could take his place and turn heel after WrestleMania 34. It is still unknown what WWE has planned for Rollins at WrestleMania, but given his impressive performance on Monday's Raw in the gauntlet match there will almost certainly be a big push in store for the remainder of the year.
The company feels there is a shortage of top heels on the RAW brand, with speculation that Rollins’ could turn heel again and start a feud with Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at some stage in the year.
