Puroresu Icon "Great Muta" Keiji Mutoh Set to Have Double Knee Replacement

Japanese Puroresu icon and former National Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Champion "The Great Muta" Keiji Mutoh announced today that he will be having a double knee replacement, which could force the 55-year-old wrestling Superstar into retirement.

The following Tweets are in Japanese, but the first Tweet roughly translates into the following:

"I was allowed to announce a big decision at the conference today. Knees to the artificial joint. I'm anxious and scared to come back to the ring as a professional wrestler, but I'll beat it."
