WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler made his return to Smackdown Live this past Tuesday. When we last saw Ziggler he was standing in the middle of the ring vacating the United States Championship he had won at Clash Of Champions. Sports Illustrated is reporting that Ziggler has signed a new contract. The new deal is reportedly for two years at $1.5 million/year. It has been noted that Ziggler always planned on re-signing
In an interview on Smackdown, he said he returned to the company to do the one thing that has eluded him his whole career, main event Wrestlemania. Ziggler has never actually had a singles match at the event.
Ziggler defeated Sami Zayn to be added to the Fatal Five Way for the WWE Championship which takes place at Fastlane. Ziggler faces AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin for Styles’ championship. Fastlane takes place on Sunday March 11 from The Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio
