The rumor mill for the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2018 is in full swing on the road to WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans. Today, Mike Johnson on the PWInsider Audio Hotline revealed that multiple people within WWE have informed him that there is talk of inducting Jeff Jarrett into the 2018 WWE Hall of Fame.
Johnson noted that he has heard this rumor for the past several weeks but hasn't been able to confirm if this is just rumor or indeed about to happen.
Jarrett left the WWE in October 1999 for WCW. He went on to found TNA Wrestling in 2002 until his resignation on January 6, 2014. He returned numerous times but took an "indefinite leave of absence" in 2016, On October 23, Impact Wrestling announced the termination of its relationship with Jarrett and his company Global Force Entertainment Inc.
Jarrett entered WWE sponsored rehab in that same month.
