The planned NJPW match between Chris Jericho and Tetsuya Naito is not reportedly going to take place NJPW Long Beach as first thought, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
He noted that tickets for the event are already sold out and the match will likely be pushed back a few months. Another indication Jericho will not be apart of the show is he has not been announced as yet and Cody Rhodes vs. Kenny Omega is being viewed as the headline match.
Meltzer speculated the match will be added NJPW’s Dominion event in June instead.
