Vince McMahon has reportedly stepped down from his duties of running 205 Live on a weekly basis, according to PWInsider.
As of last week, Triple H took over the running of the show moving forward with the launch of the Cruiserweight tournament. McMahon believed the show should be character driven and was behind the move to put Enzo Amore on the brand and make him the Cruiserweight champion.
The belief of many within the company is the show should be presented like the Cruiserweight Classic. Triple H will now work alongside lead writer Jonathan Baeckstrom with the focus switching to presenting strong athletic characters and in-ring competition.
