CagesideSeats.com is reporting that during a recent appearance on Lilian Garcia's official podcast, both she and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus discussed WWE Superstar Paige's current status and, according to the report, "they mentioned Paige is retired as previous reports have indicated and she told them WWE is going to find something else for her to do."
This statement means that we could likely continue to see Paige serve in a managerial capacity for fellow Absolution stable members Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose.
Despite the many recent reports, neither WWE nor Paige have issued any kind of an official statement saying that Paige has actually retired from in-ring competition.
As previously reported, Paige suffered what was initially thought to be a stinger while she was competing in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match at a WWE live event back on December 28, 2017. That situation involved Sasha Banks kicking Paige. However, after medical tests were performed, the results revealed that Paige had suffered an impact injury to her neck, and she has not competed since that time. The incident also forced Paige to be withdrawn from the recent first-ever 30-Woman Royal Rumble Match at the Royal Rumble event, with the company saying she was no longer able to compete in the match "due to a neck injury."
