Carmella ACTUALLY Knocked Out WWE Referee On SmackDown Live

As seen on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, Carmella saw an opportunity and nearly cashed it in her Money In The Bank contract after The Riott Squad laid out the SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair. During the segment, which you can watch below Carmella’s music hit and she made a sprint to the ring with her Money in the Bank briefcase.

The Philly crowd went crazy but she inadvertently dropped kicked the WWE referee out of the ring knocking him out cold, but what she wouldn't have known at the time is she actually did KO him cold...at least for a few seconds. 

Referee Danilo Anfibio took to his Twitter to explain what happened.

To all that questioned the events that took place on #SDLive I did hit my head on the apron which is the solid metal frame of the ring and was knocked out for a couple of seconds. Luckily I passed all of @WWE concussion protocol tests and will be back to work next week! 👍🏼
