WWE has reportedly hired Jeremy Borash and lured him away from Impact/TNA Wrestling which he has been apart of since the company's creation in 2002. The veteran broadcaster was in attendance backstage at Royal Rumble weekend, according to PWInsider.
The report goes on to reveal that Matt and Jeff had requested that WWE hire Borash when they rejoined the company in April last year. Borash was hugely influential in the "Broken" Matt Hardy projects during their time with Impact/TNA.
It is speculated Borash will be involved with a new production of a "Final Deletion" type project in WWE.
Borash did voiceover work for upcoming Impact episodes this past Thursday and filmed Impact content at the House of Hardcore event in Philadelphia on Friday in his last work for the company.
This will come as a huge blow to Impact Wrestling who considered Borash one of the key players backstage.
