WWE Raw Live Coverage and Results (1/29)

Welcome to Monday Night Raw!

The ring announcer introduces Stephanie McMahon who welcomes everyone to Raw. She recaps of everything that went on last night in the Women's Royal Rumble match. She says tonight will be about the winner of that match, Asuka. Asuka comes out as Stephanie introduces her. Stephanie says Alexa Bliss will defend her Raw Women's Championship in the first ever Women's Elimination Chamber match. Asuka cuts a promo in Japanese and says she will be champion at Wrestlemania. Sasha Banks interrupts and says the women made history last night. She says she wants to congratulate Asuka, but then says she is ready for Asuka tonight. Stephanie announces tonight's match to be between Sasha Banks vs. Asuka.

Braun Strowman vs. Kane - Last Man Standing Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Strowman starts bringing out the weapons from under the ring as soon as he comes out.

-Commercial Break-

Braun is dominating Kane until Braun goes into the ring post. Both men brawl all the way into the crowd. They go into the tech area where Braun nails Kane with a steel chair to the back. Braun rolls a crate onto Kane and then proceeds to beat Kane with a chair by the stage. Braun goes behind the commentator's booth as Michael Cole, Graves and Coach escape the area and Braun lifts it, crushing Kane. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Braun Strowman 

Graves interviews Braun on the stage and says he is the last man standing.

-Commercial Break-

Michael Cole, Corey Graves and Coach stand by the stage showing the carnage from the Last Man Standing match.

Kurt Angle confronts Braun backstage yells at him and asks him if he can give him a break. Braun yells back saying he said he would be the last one standing and he will be the last one standing in the Elimination Chamber.

"Woken" Matt Hardy vs. Elias Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Elias is in the ring, saying he sings for himself because he loves the sound of his voice. He says John Cena will get what's coming to him after Cena eliminated him last night. He sings a song, saying he's got Brock in his sights after he wins the Chamber. Matt Hardy's theme interrupts Elias. 

-Commercial Break-

The bell rings. Matt Hardy puts Elias in the corner and nails a right hand. Elias and Hardy lock up and Elias takes him down with a headlock. Matt Hardy puts down Elias with a back suplex. Matt Hardy continues his offense with chops in the corner followed by a neck breaker. Elias gets out of a headlock and takes down Hardy with a clothesline after escaping the Twist Of Fate. Elias wares down Hardy and sends his shoulder to the ring post.

-Commercial Break-

We come back from commercial as Elias works the arm of Matt Hardy. Hardy tries to fight back but Elias works the arm again. Hardy comes back with right hands and head butts. Hardy rams Elias' head multiple times in the corner. Hardy lands a elbow drop to the back of the head off the middle rope followed by the side effect. Bray Wyatt's entrance is seen. Hardy gets distracted, allowing Elias to hit Drift Away on Hardy for the win.

Winner: Elias. Bray Wyatt shows up on the screen, laughing.

An Instagram video of Miz is shown, saying Roman should not deserve a rematch and that he defeat Roman Reigns like how the Patriots will defeat the Eagles this Sunday.

-Commercial Break- 

Roman Reigns vs. The Miz - WWE Intercontinental Championship

A recap of their match last week is shown. Roman Reigns comes out to a chorus of boos. The bell rings after the introductions and Miz walks into a vicious right hand by Roman. Reigns dominates in the early going with rights and a head butt in the corner. Miz tries to fire back with a shot and chops but has no effect on Roman. Roman nails a shot on Miz and throws him over the top rope. Roman goes to the outside and sends Miz into the steel steps. Roman throws Miz back into the ring and throws Miz back out of the ring. Roman goes back outside and grabs a steel chair, scaring the Miztourage away. The referee warns Roman as he is about to hit Miz with a steel chair. Roman throws the chair down, rolls back into the ring, rolls back outside but Miz grabs him and sends him into the ring post.

-Commercial Break-

We return with Miz applying a sleeper hold on Roman. Roman fights out and has Miz on his shoulders. Miz fights out and tries to hit the Skull Crushing Finale but gets hit with a Samoan Drop. Both men get up with right hands to one another. Miz lands rights and lefts, but Roman answers with a clothesline. Roman makes his comeback and lands a boot to the face on Miz. Roman tries the Superman Punch but Miz lands a chop block to the knee. Miz lands kicks to the chest of Roman. Roman counters the last kick and is about to hit the powerbomb. Miz fights out of it and gets Roman in a Figure Four Leglock. Roman tries to fight through it. Roman turns the pressure over on Miz and Miz makes it to the ropes. Miz kicks Roman's knee. Miz tries the Figure Four again but Roman counters into a sit out powerbomb. Roman cover but only gets a two count. Miz goes to expose the turnbuckle pad but gets caught by the referee. Roman goes after Miz, but Miz gives a thumb to his eye, hits the Skull Crushing Finale but Roman kicks out. Roman counters another Skull Crushing Finale, Miz counters Roman sending him in the ring post but Roman hits a Superman Punch. Roman covers but Miz kicks out at 2. Curtis Axel distracts the referee and Roman clocks him. Roman nails Bo Dallas on the outside and brings Miz back in the ring. Bo interferes again but Roman lays him and Axel out. Miz sneaks from behind and rolls him up for the 1.. 2.. 3.

Winner: And Still Intercontinental Champion The Miz.

The commentators recap Braun's destruction from earlier. They show a tweet from Paul Heyman about it and the matches for later tonight.

-Commercial Break-

The Revival vs. Rhyno and Heath Slater

We come back with Rhyno knocking down Wilder. Slater gets tagged in and nails a right hand off the middle turnbuckle. Slater builds momentum until Wilder starts to work on Slater's arm. Slater gets out of a submission with a neckbreaker. Rhyno gets tagged in and dominates Dawson. Dawson turns it around by attacking Rhyno's knee followed by Shattered Machine for the win.

Winners: The Revival. They are interviewed saying they beat the first ever Smackdown Tag Team Champions. They say the fans just try to get themselves over and live in the past. They say they are the future.

-Commercial Break-

Cole, Graves and Coach show the Hall Of Fame video package of The Dudley Boyz.

A Instagram video of Finn Balor and The Club is shown of him bragging about his time in the Rumble last night. He says Cena cost him the Rumble win and says he will step over him tonight.

Renee Young interviews Sasha Banks. Sasha says it is her time to take Asuka's spotlight.

-Commercial Break-

Asuka vs. Sasha Banks

The bell rings. Both women tie lock up, Sasha plays mind games and tries a roll up for a two count. Both women go back and forth in chain wrestling with Sasha putting Asuka in the corner and kicking her. Asuka gains the upper hand by putting Sasha on the apron and knocking her down with a rear view off of it. Asuka works the arm and shoulder of Sasha. Sasha tries to fight out of an arm submission but Asuka lands a right hand. Sasha gains control with a kick to the face. Sasha takes down Asuka and lands a double knee strike.

-Commercial Break-

We come back with Asuka landing kicks to the chest of Sasha. Sasha gets Asuka in the corner and lands the double knees to the gut for a two count. Sasha is in control, applying a double arm stretch. Sasha drives Asuka's back of the head to the mat. Asuka kicks out at 2 after a suplex from Sasha. Sasha slaps Asuka, taunts her but Asuka fights back. Sasha goes off the ropes and gets Asuka for the Bank Statement. Asuka gets out with a roll up but Sasha gets out. Sasha gets Asuka in the Bank Statement again but Asuka gets out again. Asuka is tossed out. Sasha goes for a suicide dive but gets caught with a kick to the skull. Asuka brings her back in the ring, lands a knee to the face, kicks and a kick to the face. Sasha manages to kick out after a missile drop kick. Asuka tries to knock off Sasha off the apron but Asuka gets tripped onto the outside. Sasha lands a double knee off the apron onto Asuka, followed by a double knee off the drop for a two count. Sasha is able to get the Bank Statement again in the middle of the ring. Asuka looks like she is about to tap but Asuka counters her with the Asuka Lock to make Sasha tap out.

Winner: Asuka

John Cena says he is just getting started on a Twitter video and says he is going to the Elimination Chamber.

The Bar vs. Titus O'Neal and Apollo Crews - WWE Raw Tag Team Championship

Apollo rolls up Sheamus in the early going but Sheamus quickly gets out. Sheamus works on Crews, but rolls up Sheamus again for a two count. Crews is in control, landing a dropkick on Shaemus but kicks out. Crews tags in Titus and dominates Sheamus. Sheamus is able to make it into his corner to tag in Cesaro, who gains the upper hand. Titus turns it around, running Cesaro into the turnbuckle then crushing him in the other corner. Sheamus gets tagged in and clobbers Titus, knocking him down and Titus retreats to the outside.

-Commercial Break-

We return with Cesaro applying a headlock to Titus but he drops Cesaro with a back suplex. Cesaro tags in Sheamus and keeps Titus down. Sheamus tags Cesaro back in and gives a front face lock. Cesaro keeps Titus at bay as he tags Sheamus back in and tosses Titus out. Titus gives a boot to Cesaro and knocks Sheamus into the ropes followed by a clothesline. Crews gets tagged in and is fired up, taking the fight to Titus. Crews lands a standing shooting star but gets a two count. Crews tries to fight off both men but gets caught in a powerbomb by Sheamus. Crews gets back up and rolls up Cesaro for a two count. Crews continues to fight both men but gets rammed shoulder first into the ring post followed by the double team finisher on Crews for the win.

Winners: And Still Tag Team Champions The Bar.

 Finn Balor vs. John Cena - Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match 

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson come out before Finn makes his entrance.

-Commercial Break-

John Cena makes his way to the ring. The bell rings. Both men lock up and break as Cena is pushed to the corner. The fans chant "Let's Go Balor". Cena gets a wrist lock. Finn tries to fight out but Cena keeps him down. Finn escapes and hits a arm drag into an arm bar on Cena. Cena gets out but gets arm dragged off the ropes and back into a arm bar. Cena gets out and hits a shoulder tackle on Finn. Cena applys a headlock and takes him down with it. Cena nails another side headlock, Finn gets out but Cena nails another one. Finn rolls up Cena but gets a two count. Cena rolls out of the ring looking frustrated. Cena gets back in and both both men try the test of strength on each other. Cena gets Finn on his knees. Finn gets back up and gets him in a roll up for a two count. Cena nails a right hand, knocking down Finn.

-Commercial Break-

We return with Finn with right hands to Cena but Cena knocks Finn down. Cena nails a hip toss followed by a strong irish whip to the corner. Cena gets Finn up and whips him again viciously into the corner. Cena whips him again but Finn catches Cena with a boot and starts his comeback. Cena counters Finn with a shoulder tackle followed by his comeback. Cena goes for the Five Knuckle Shuffle but Finn moves out of the way and brings Cena to the mat. Finn goes for the cover but only a two count. Both men go back and forth, exchanging right hands. Cena takes Finn down with a kick and hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena tries the AA but Finn counters into the over head kick for a two count. Finn hits the Sling Blade. Finn charges at Cena  but gets hit with a clothesline. Finn kicks Cena away, but gets caught by Cena and overpowers Finn giving him an AA. Cena covers but Finn kicks out at 2. Cena frustrated as he goes to the top rope. Finn knocks him off and kicks him to the corner. Finn goes for the Coup De Grace but Cena moves out of the way and gets Finn in the STF. Finn makes it to the bottom rope. On the apron, Finn kicks Cena down. Finn goes to the top rope but Cena meets him up there and hits Finn with an AA off the top rope. Cena gets the 1.. 2.. 3.

Winner: John Cena
