The Royal Rumble pay-per-view event is scheduled for Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Wells Fargo Center and like every year there is much speculation and rumor about what surprise entrants will appear in the match ahead of the road to WrestleMania.
This year, much of the focus has surrounded the first-ever Woman's Royal Rumble match, which still has a number of positions open and many are speculating Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will make her in-ring debut with WWE, although she has told her fans on Instagram she is busy filming a movie this weekend.
PWinsider.com is reporting that The Undertaker and Michelle McCool are both in Philadelphia as they flew into the city on Friday night. There has been speculation about Taker competing in the Royal Rumble match and also McCool is rumored for the women's match.
Taker made his return last week's 25th anniversary of Raw, delivering a bizarre promo at the Manhatten Center. WWE reportedly still has plans for Taker to go up against John Cena at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans.
