Former WWEĀ SmackDownĀ andĀ Monday Night RawĀ General Manager Vickie Guerrero recently spoke to Sportskeeda.
On being inspired by her late husband Eddie Guerrero during her run as a WWE performer:Ā
āJust to watch Eddie in the bathroom rehearsing his promos in the mirror, and being involved with his career on a daily basis, you tend to acquire those characteristics. Just being involved with his creativity and to watch him become so successful in his career, it was a gift from god. I would think about what would Eddie do when I was in the ring, and I would always think about how I would make Eddie happy that night.ā
On what sheās been doing since leaving WWE:Ā
āSince Iāve been away Iāve been pursuing a medical career, and also working on my Bachelorās to finish my healthcare administration. Thatās as well as doing conventions and meet & greets for independent promoters, and Iāve also been writing my book. I keep busy even though you donāt see me on TV anymore, and I donāt know how to rest.ā
On a possible WWE return:Ā
āNever say never. I guess with my girls being older now I donāt have to worry about them being at home, so yeah, if I ever had the chance I would love to do it again.ā
On not being at the RAW 25 show:Ā
āOf course I was happy to be a part of it [the history of Raw], but I wouldāve maybe liked to have seen my picture pop up! But I know what Iāve done, and to know that I was a part of a little bit of history for Raw 25, I was still happy in my heart and was able to watch it.ā
On her closest friend from WWE:Ā
āMy favorite person who I talk to all the time is Tamina Snuka. She was my road partner when I was in WWE, and so sheās my sister that I never had. We try and get a hold of each other as much as possible, but yeah, we always try and make it a point to contact each other and catch up on whatās going on.ā
