Impact Officials Reportedly Confused by Chris Adonis's Departure

As was previously reported, Chris Adonis announced his departure from Impact Wrestling with a statement on Twitter.

According to a report from The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Impact officials were caught off guard by Adonis's decision to leave the company. They apparently had no idea that he wanted to leave until he approached them about it during the third night of last week's television tapings. He was originally scheduled for the entire set of tapings.
