Jim Ross Says Charges Against Driver Involved In Wife’s Death Dropped

Jim Ross today revealed on Twitter that a vehicular homicide charge has been dismissed against the 17-year-old driver responsible for his wife’s death, despite an objection from the state.

Jan Ross was driving to the gym when her Vespa was struck, she was thrown from the bike an passed away a few days later after suffering a catastrophic brain injury including multiple skull fractures, she wasn't wearing a helmet at the time, she was 55-years-old.

Ross tweeted: "This morning norman judge Steven Stice felt compelled to dismiss vehicular homicide charge against the 17 year old in my wife Jan’s death. The state objected to no avail. The driver never even lost his drivers license. Sad world in which we live, folks."

Details concerning the case are limited due to the driver being a minor but the judge felt the 17-year old had fulfilled his sentence which was believed to be counseling and undisclosed community service.
