Former Impact Wrestling Name Rumored As Surprise WWE Royal Rumble Entrant?

As has been widely reported former Impact Wrestling star EC3 is believed to be headed to WWE. The expected plan would be for him to join the NXT brand before a main roster debut on Raw or SmackDown Live in a few months time, but The Renegade Wrestling Revolution promotion in Houston, TX has announced today that EC3 will not be appearing on their show as previously advertised on Sunday, January 28.

The interesting thing about this is that The Renegade Wrestling Revolution event takes place on the same date as the Royal Rumble pay-per-view with many now speculating that EC3 might make a surprise entrant in the match.

“BREAKING NEWS!!!!!! Do to reasons out of RWR control EC3 will not be able to attend RWR “OVER THE TOP”. EC3 has said he will be back to RWR in the near future. So on January 28th at RWR “OVER THE TOP” you will see Ayden Cristiano vs Able Andrew Jackson vs Big Daddy Yum Yum vs Ryan Davidson. Plus so much more.
