Is WWE Interested in Signing Ethan Carter III?

According to a report from PWInsider.com, WWE is interested in signing former two-time Impact Wrestling Global Champion (TNA World Champion) and one-time Impact Grand Champion Ethan Carter III.

It was previously reported that EC3 would likely be leaving Impact Wrestling after last night's television tapings.

As many fans are aware, EC3 had previously worked for WWE under the name of Derrick Bateman. His WWE career was largely uneventful, as he debuted on Season 3 of NXT and ended up staying in NXT for the rest of his time there. He was released from WWE in May of 2013 and then debuted at TNA Bound for Glory in October of that same year.
