WWE NXT (1/10) Results and Live Coverage

The show opens with a promo of The Undisputed Era. They brag about their tag title win and hope to get rid of Sanity once and for all. Adam Cole hopes to finally be NXT champion.

Mauro Ranello, Percy Watson and Nigel McGuinness welcomes everyone to NXT. 

Shayna Baszler vs. Dakota Kai - A clip of Shayna Baszler's incident at the performance center is played. They lock up. Shayna pushes Dakota in the corner and knocks her down. Shayna gets her in a wrist lock and works on the arm. Baszler continues to stomp on Dakota's arm and kick her in the chest. Referee stops the match after a vicious stomp to the arm.

Winner: Shayna Baszler.

Shayna runs to Dakota and chokes her out. Referees try to break her hold. Ember Moon runs into the ring to stop Shayna. Shayna backs off and leaves.

The Authors Of Pain backstage say they want their titles and want to destroy Sanity and The Undisputed Era.

-Commercial Break-

A replay of Shayna breaking Dakota's arm is shown. The reporter asks why Shayna did what she did. William Regal comes and scolds her for what she did. Shayna asks if she's done here and leaves.

Kassius Ohno vs. Raul Mendoza - Ohno and Mendoza shake hands. Mendoza tries to get a headlock, but Ohno over powers him. Combinations of rollups are displayed by both men. Mendoza nails a head scissors takedown on Ohno and kicks to the chest. Ohno counters one of the kicks and flips him onto his stomach. Ohno nails elbow shots to the head on Mendoza in the corner. Ohno tries the Gory Special but Mendoza counters into a rollup, but only a two count. Mendoza hits an armdrag, but Ohno gives a chop. Mendoza hits a springboard enzugri, covers but gets a two count. Ohno is able to land an elbow, kick to the face and an elbow to the back of Mendoza's neck for the pin.

Winner: Kassius Ohno.

Zelina is interviewed from earlier today, saying Johnny Gargano got lucky with his #1 contenders win. She says he is a fairy tale and Andrade 'Cien' Almas will be the true champion at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia.

Johnny Gargano is interviewed about his #1 contenders win. He says it's a dream come true. The Velveteen Dream interrupts and tells Johnny to say thank you. He says Johnny got lucky and says he won't beat Andrade. He says that The Dream earned his spot and should be in Johnny's spot.

-Commercial Break-

The Street Profits causes trouble backstage, dancing around and harassing a crew member. They confront William Regal and say they want a shot at the tag titles. Regal makes the announcement to them that it will be The Street Profits vs. The Authors Of Pain for a #1 contenders shot.

Lio Rush vs. Lars Sullivan - Lars charges at Lio, but Lio lands a couple of kicks. Lio runs the ropes, dodging Lars. Lio lands a handspring kick while Lars is on the apron. Lars takes Lio and throws him in the turnbuckle. Lars takes Lio into the corner, charges at Lio but hits the steel post shoulder first. Lio gets nailed with a huge clothesline and hits the Freak Accident for the win.

Winner: Lars Sullivan. Lars cuts a promo and says he wants to destroy a big force in Killian Dain. Lars grabs Lio and takes to the top rope for a huge slam down to the mat.

Backstage The Undisputed Era attacks Sanity throwing steel on top of them. 

The Undisputed Era come out, arrogantly. They pretend like nothing happened to Sanity. Then they brag about attacking them. Nikki Cross tries to come and attack them but is restrained by referees. She tries again but referees restrain her again. Regal comes out and says they will defend their tag titles tonight. Roderick Strong comes out and wants a shot at them. As soon as he's about to find a partner, Aleister Black comes out. Black says he will join Roderick. They run to the ring and attack O'Reily and Fish.

-Commercial Break-

Aleister Black and Roderick Strong vs. O'Reily and Fish NXT Tag Team Championship- Black and O'Reily start out and Black lands variations of kicks and knees. O'Reily escapes but both Fish and O'Reily get hit with a suicide dive by Roderick. Roderick gets tagged and lands a double team move with Roderick hitting a dropkick on O'Reily. Roderick continues to ware down O'Reily and tags in Black. Black is on roll until he is kicked off the apron by Fish.

-Commercial Break-

Back from commercial, O'Reily and Fish tag in and out as they beat down Black. O'Reily knocks down Roderick and both FIsh and Reily double team Black in the corner. Fish hits an exploder suplex, O'Reily covers but Roderick breaks it up. Black gets out of a headlock by Fish. Black knocks down Fish with a kick and tags in Strong. Strong comes in like a house of fire and beats up both men at once. He hits chops, kicks and a overhead suplex on O'Reily onto Fish. Chaos is in the ring as Fish breaks up a pinfall. Aleister attacks Fish after Roderick tosses him out. Adam Cole cheap shots Black, but Black no sells and goes after him. Cole retreats into the fans and Black goes after him. O'Reily and Fish hits the Total Elimination in the ring for the 1.. 2.. 3.

Winners: And still NXT Tag Team Champions O'Reily and Fish. Aleister Black goes after and attacks O'Reily and Fish in the ring. Cole comes in and sends Black shoulder first into the ring post. With O'Reily and Fish holding Black, Cole pummels him with right hands and a kick to the head. O'Reily gets a steel chair, unfolds it, Cole gets Black on his shoulders and turns it into a neck breaker onto the chair. The Undisputed Era leave the ring, enjoying what they did. William Regal comes back out and announces that at NXT Takeover: Philadelphia Cole's match with Black is now an Extreme Rules match.

The show ends with Adam Cole in shock at the announcement.
