In preparation for his debut in Bellator MMA in 2018, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger has been training with fellow WWE alumni and six-time World Champion Dave Batista. As many fans are aware, Batista has a deep interest in mixed martial arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He had one successful MMA fight back in October of 2012 and was officially recognized as a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in early 2014.

Jack Swagger comes from a solid amateur wrestling background, as he was an All-American college wrestler at the University of Oklahoma.

Batista posted the following photo on Instagram, which shows a bruised eye that he received from Swagger during one of their training sessions:
