At Friday night's ROH Final Battle 2017 event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, Silas Young became the brand new Ring of Honor World Television Champion after emerging victorious in a Four Corners Elimination Match.

Young defeated Kenny King, Punishment Martinez, and Shane Taylor to become the new champion, last eliminating Martinez to win.
